Yes, a flood of coins, literally! The heavy rains in California last week put a "damper" on the show attendance. We had a good opportunity to add many new items as a result. All areas are represented from half cents to gold to a few new Commemoratives and a couple Canada key coins.  Check out the type coins and the key dates we added.

Look them over but don't overlook them!  Thanks for taking the time to review our list. We really appreciate your business and friendship.

Have a great weekend. We will be dealing with a big snowstorm here so hours might be limited on Friday 2-24-17.

All the best,

Steve, and Chance

This Latin phrase is well heeded in the numismatic community. “Let the buyer beware” has been a staple of collector advice just like “Buy the book before you buy the coins”.

We take these phrases very seriously and have built our business on providing customers with quality, value and service. My personal motto is “If I wouldn’t put it on my collection, I won’t ask you to put it in yours”.

Let me encourage our customers to contact us anytime you have a question or concern about anything we sell or any of the services we offer. Your complete satisfaction in all we do is a company goal, as well as an expectation.

We wish the best and pray for this country as we transition our government this Friday. May you and your family have a very healthy, happy and prosperous New Year.

Have a great weekend and all the best,

Gary, Steve, and Chance

The FUN Show was a phenomenal show except that there was a shooting at the Fort Lauderdale airport. Our hearts and prayers are for the victims and their families of this senseless event. This put a damper on what would otherwise be the premier market indicator of the New Year. Based on the turnout and sales, 2017 should be a winner!

We added perhaps the largest number of new coins to our website in many months. There is basic type, key coins as well as very rare type coins. Check out the “Pikes Peak mountain ten dollar gold issued by Clark Gruber. Some really early type coins were added as well.

You will love this selection and I hope you can find something of special interest to you. Happy hunting and remember, these are one of a kind so act quickly.

Have a great weekend and all the best,

Gary, Steve, and Chance

Houston-Cowboys & Coins!

Houston, America’s 4th largest city hosted the popular Houston Coin Club at the Houston Convention Center. It was a nice event fairly well attended and the coin club does a very nice job.

We bought and sold many great coins in Houston. Among the new highlights are some very nice type coins including a nice 1796 Draped Bust Dollar and several other early dollars as well, We have added some great collector coins including a 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter, a nice 1904-S Morgan and a pleasing Lafayette Commemorative Dollar. We have also added some very nice proof coins including Trade, Morgan, Seated and Walking Liberty.

Gold additions include a 1802/1 Capped Bust Five Dollar, and a very nice 1911-S Five Dollar Indian. A coin of interest is the beautiful German Teutonic Crown. It is quite spectacular. We have added well over 100 new coins from Houston, and some more that we did not have time to get entered from the Michigan Show.

You will always find something interesting and something perhaps you will want to own. Don’t forget to make those gift purchases as well.

A special note to you that use the link to “New to Store”. We just added more than 60 coins that will appear in the category assigned but will not show on the “New to Store” page until Saturday morning due to how the website works. Please make sure to check the individual pages as well as you might miss what you are looking for.

Have a great weekend and all the best,

Gary, Steve, Chance and Freddie

Thank You and God Bless Your Service

John 15:13

“Greater love has no one than this;

to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times”

From A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, 1859

This classic novel depicts the unflattering brutality of the French Aristocracy in the years leading up to the revolution there. The people suffered all forms of inhumanity and government had lost all sense of their needs. As we look at parallels in our country today, we are certainly not in that same wretched condition, yet many Americans feel left out of the system and look to our leadership for answers. Our electoral system provides that opportunity to change what we do not like. A few days ago we exercised that right, that freedom that so many veterans have sacrificed to uphold. Regardless of whether your candidate won, the opportunity is there for change. An opportunity that may hold promise and hopefully a better way of life for all

All the best and wishing you a beautiful weekend,

“Gary created the Professional Numismatists Guild ‘Collectors Bill of Rights,' the pledge that PNG members must follow regarding consumer protection and education. Baltimore News and Views

Last week’s Baltimore Show was a great success for us. It was well attended considering the threat of unrest from a protest march that was planned near the convention center. Many dealers closed Friday and left the show early in fear of being involved in a chaotic or dangerous situation.

As it turned out, it was a non-event which fortunately made our decision to stay and continue the show a good choice. I bought nearly 200 great new coins for our customers and they range from half cents to commemoratives. Highlights include a couple of Gobrecht Dollars, a couple of superb Isabella Commemorative Quarters and some phenomenal type and key date coins.

We will be leaving August 8th for the annual Convention of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) in Anaheim, California. It is shaping up to be a great summer convention. We hope to see many of our friends and customers there. We will be on the corner with tables #637 and 736. We will be ready to buy, sell or trade. If you have coins you would like to consign or sell, please give us the opportunity to work with you.

Please check our website to see all the great new additions.

Have a great weekend,
